Lapins is a self-fertile sweet cherry developed in Canada in 1984 from a Van x Stella cross, known for crack resistance and productivity.

Hardy to USDA Zone 5-8, vigorous and upright. Good resistance to bacterial blight and brown rot.

Grow in full sun with well-drained soil. Large, dark red fruit with firm, juicy flesh and sweet, low-acid flavor.

Moderate storage — lasts 1-2 weeks fresh; good for freezing.
