Golden Russet is an old American heirloom apple from New York before 1845, prized for cider and fresh eating, with a champagne-like quality.

Grow in full sun with well-drained soil; pollinate with mid-bloom varieties. Medium-sized golden-bronze russeted fruit with crisp, creamy yellow flesh, sweet-sharp nutty flavor, and aromatic juice.
